Sometimes I wonder.
Who reads my blog?
I know some of you, but the rest?
No idea.
When I look at my Statcounter, it looks like people from all over the world pop in to check out my breakfasts. Someone from Dubai reads my blog. Awesome. (Or maybe it's just a spam robot - maybe you're all spam robots - aaargh!) Anyway - a couple of months ago I wrote something in Swedish about how great it would be to meet up and have breakfast together. This mostly concerned readers in the Gothenburg area. We never had that picnic - I'm pretty good at starting something and not finishing it. You could say that I have a master degree in not finishing things. How I've managed to maintain this blog since last October goes beyond me. It should be dead and buried by now, if you were to go by my other projects. Someday I'll tell you all about the stupid things I've taken on over the years. Christ...
My point is (I did have a point with this - I think), I would love to meet you. Not just readers in the Gothenburg area, but others as well. How cool would it be to meet up in...say...Paris and just stroll and talk? Go to museums and flea markets? Take photos. Eat crêpes and look at people (in a not too disturbing way...)? I think it would be pretty aweome. Paris with strangers. Because that's what we are, right? Strangers. You don't know me at all - you know what I eat, but that's pretty much it. I am 31 1/2 years old and spend all my money on vintage dresses. My hair is a mess. I have a fat cat and a boyfriend who puts up with dresses hanging everywhere. I met him on the train 10 years ago. The boyfriend, not the cat. I am a hopeless romantic, but I prefer to act as if I am not. I can sleep everywhere - on the floor, standing up - you name it. When I get mad, I throw things. Sometimes they break. I always misplace my glasses. I've sat on them at various occasions. I look like a crazy person with all that hair and crooked glasses. I talk when I'm nervous. A lot. About nothing. I've never been to the US, but I have a pretty good accent. I could probably pass for Canadian. I love Paris. I love it so much that I never go anywhere else. I think Le Petit Prince says more about life than any other book in the world and I can dislocate one of my middle fingers. I wish I had the character to become a vegan. I laugh a lot. I think I'm the funniest person in the world (I've been told that I am not - tsss - lies!). When I decide to do something, I go all in. 110 %. Oh, and I think too much. About life, love, death and a thousand other things.
That's basically me in a nutshell.
So. Now that you know a little bit more about me - tell me about you.
Or better yet - save it for Paris.

Let's go to Paris :)
And I like to way you see yourself :)
I'll pack my bags!
Well. I'm 14 years old, I come from Norway, right on the other side of Sweden. I read your blog everyday and get really inspired by your wedding photos and your breakfast. Im a singer, I write songs and play the guitar. I like macarones and I want to travel to Paris and Venice. That's me. :-)
I'm a seventeen year old from the US, and I could most definitely eat breakfast for every single meal of the day. I love it. And I love your blog! I would totally also love to meet up in Paris... so I guess I'd better start saving up for a plane ticket. ;)
You even have an 19 year old photographer and fashion lover follower from The Netherlands! Who loves your inspirational blog!
Kul att höra om er!
Great to hear about you guys!
Another Swede here, seeking inspiration from your blog. ;) I am 23 years old and feel content with myself for the first time in my life (a wonderful feeling, I can assure you that). Used to live in the US for a couple of years and miss it and the people in it every single day but love Småland as well, where I now reside. At the moment, I study to (hopefully) become a social worker of some kind, but life has taken me lots of places I didn't expect so, who knows? I have a blog about food, I cook and bake, just love food in general I guess. Besides that, I watch movies and TV-series ALL THE TIME, and pay less attention to the outside world than I probably should. Love to meet new people, but have a really hard time staying in touch. And before this becomes a novel, I'll just end this with a "I WANT TO TAKE PICTURES LIKE YOU DO" scream. Thanks for an inspiring and in many other ways just awesome blog <3
"Love to meet new people, but have a really hard time staying in touch"
Uncanny. Sounds like me. We should meet up and never hear from each other again - ha!
hi, i'm 16 and from Singapore, which is somewhere in South East Asia and not in China, contrary to popular belief.
i love your photography, and photography in general. i like the idea of breakfast and your breakfasts 8)
i'd love to meet you in paris some day, to eat and shoot people. with cameras. heh. i also like music, percussion, dance and poetry. and food.
I am your evil twin. But you already knew that ;-)
Rei: Awesome!
Missy: Moahahaha! *holds pinky in corner of mouth*
I'm from Chicago, USA - lover of breakfast, trying to lose weight. Love the inspirational breakfast combos you post, and they're all so beautifully photographed!
Hi, Im Katherine, 24 years old from Russia. Your blog is lovely!
Hey! I'm 24, from Hungary, in the last two years I lived in Barcelona and Berlin and the next stop is the US. :) I wish you would be the photographer at my wedding next year! :))
18 and from a very small Estonian town. adore travelling and jewellery (and make them myself) and bunnies and photography. and side braids and flower-printed dresses and coral pink. i fell in love with stockholm one summer and i'm learning swedish now, you're kind of a good help :)
har det så bra! :)
geez, i'd love to do such thing. the problem is i've got absolutely no money left ahah.
but hey, here i am, reading you from portugal!
<3
I love your blog, I love your photos, they make me smile every single day :)
I feel bad that I leave comment only from time to time :/ sorry for that :)
We've got something in common- when I get mad I also throw things! ahahaha
I love paper, make albums and layouts with it :) (people call it scrapbooking)
I'm from Poland :) but next weekn I'll be in Stockholm :)
hugs Jaszmurka :*
My name is Camilla too, and I love breakfast. Especially yours - mine is oatmeal every day, and smoothies only at weekends. Just wanted to tip you about this book, written by yet another Camilla (Boka heter rett og slett FROKOST, og er laget av Camilla Jensen: http://www.bokkilden.no/SamboWeb/produkt.do?produktId=5591454&rom=MP
Would love to meet you in Paris - but Sweden will go too. Keep up the excellent breakfast job!
I am a 17 year-old girl from Norway. I don't really remember how I started reading your blog, but I liked the photos and the idea so much I had to follow you on Bloglovin to see if you could post pictures of your breakfast every day. And I must say I'm impressed by your work! Good luck on finishing the project, I'll be following and enjoying all the inspiration you give us readers.
I love travelling and taking photos, even though I think I do too little of both.
i would never have thought that you were 31years old.
it's fun though to get to know another side of you, a more personal side.
I'm 19 years old and live in Norway. I think I started reading your blog when I was in a "must read every food-blog in the world"-coma, and fell in love with it. I love that you shared some personal things! Do more, please. The only negative thing about this blog is that it'll be over when you've reached 365 days of breakfast...
Hi...U have a reader in Pakistan too...Cheers!
Ok, let's strart the ball rolling:
Jag heter Agnieszka och jag bor i Polen. Jag är 19 (nära 20 år). And let's switch to English here :) My nick is Panna L and calling me 'Panna' always makes me smile, cause it translates to sth like 'Miss L.', another form of my Net pseudo 'Lunna'. Ok, it's quite complicated, let's move on xD
I have just finished high school, passed final exams, gonna study economy from October, so my life is somehow spinning right now and is going to change a lot in a short time.
I'm keen on things connected with computers, I used to spend a lot of time making digital art, I'm a machead, I'm a dreamer. Kinda outsider and introvert, I suppose. I praise silence. Feel no need to fill every sec with meaningless mumble. So I tend to hear a lot of 'say something' crap. I prefer to observe. But trying to improve.
I'm a vegeterian. To specify, lacto-ovo. It doesn't stop me from cooking (yummy things xD). Recently I've started to celebrate my breakfast. Used to skip it just like u :)
I also thought about meeting. Polish breakfast-bloggers tried to organize this thing too, without any success so far. Everyone is willing, then problems arise. Would love to meet in Paris in the future.. and am concerned what should be served then to make an ultimate celebration. I'm ready! <3
I'm a redhead. It says a lot about my personality. Dyed, though.
Don't know what more should I say. You can always ask me questions.
And wow - how many comments! We really like u, don't u think? :)
What are the odds!
Oh, I'd love to meet you in Paris!! It's a great idea! =))
I'm a 21 years old girl from Spain. I'm quite changeable and I've wanted to be about 100 different things when I grow up. I still haven't decided. I love photography and right now I'm kinda obssesed with polaroids. My dream is to have a really big wardrobe full of dresses and wear anything more. I have a maine coon kitten and even though I've just had it with me for a month, I'm already in love with him. In three months I'm going to get married to my half-tangerine (for some unknown reason, we prefer to say that to "half-orange"). I have lots of books and zero videogames. I adore Woody Allen and Sofia Copolla's work. I'd rather go to the beach than to the country. I just can't help making lists of everything. I want to travel ALL the world. My favourite meal is breakfast but sometimes I'm too lazy for preparing something and I just skip it - so sad, I know. Other times, I go and have breakfast on a cafe. The best breakfast ever: croissant with jam and butter, orange juice and a cappuccino. Second best: pancakes.
*I meant Sofia Coppola's work hehehe. Another thing about me, I can't stand a misspell once I spot it!
I'm 23 I live in Nashville, TN, (in the US)I love taking pictures and eating/cooking/looking at food so when I finally found your blog it was a perfect fit for me. I have a food blog too, though not a pretty as yours. I work nights and for some reason that makes it so I don't ever really eat breakfast for breakfast unless it's my day off and I'm up in the morning. Waffles at 8pm just seems weird to me so it's usually something like mac and cheese and coffee (lots of coffee). I usually read your blog before heading off to work though so in a way it's almost like you add that little traditional element to my day.
And by the way I would totally love to meet up in Paris just give me 5 years to save up for a plane ticket, or a bus ticket if we have a major technological advancement somewhere in there (wouldn't that be cool!).
my name is leila, i've been reading your blog since january and it makes me feel like eating can be fun. i have eating disorders so when i first started reading it was all weird why someone eat that much (not that it was, i'm used to one tomato a day) but now i just like to dream about a life where eating nice things is not a guilt. so keep going! you set me examples.
Oh my god, reading all the comments makes me feel old!! I am 37, French living in Luxembourg... I was use to not eat breakfast and changed this around the same time you started your blog, but I discovered it only a couple of months ago.
Here you can know a bit more about me: http://bit.ly/roGV4K.... I would so love to meet you but please not in Paris... I just don't like the place... I've never been to Sweden, so may be I could discover this country...
I'm Sarah. I'm 28 and from North Carolina in the USA.
I have a cat named Kit (short for Kitty). She likes breakfast. She likes pancakes with a lot of syrup on them. She also likes bacon.
I collect Care Bears (I believe they are Krambjörnar in Sweden). I run a Care Bear website. (http://kingdomofcaring.net) I have original paintings by the creator of the Care Bears.
I run my food blog that I just recently started in memory of my fiance who died 6 months before our wedding. He use to encourage my cooking addiction by coming home with random ingredients and challenging me to see what I could make. I miss him every second of every day.
I found your blog looking for new breakfast ideas. I never thought porridge/oatmeal could look so yummy! Most Americans consider oatmeal to be what you eat when you run out of better things. Then we put a lot of maple syrup or brown sugar on it. Or we buy instant that comes filled with artificial fruit flavorings. (Which is obviously disgusting and far from the healthy ways that it is prepared in your part of the world.)
My name is Daria and I'm from Russia. You 're good at doing unusual breakfasts! Super!
Welcome to Russia, specifically to Togliatti (city where I live) See you!
I'm Alice, 25 years old from Sweden and a big fan of breakfast. I like stylish food and everything pretty. I love baking, playing the piano, dancing, reading, bunnies, whales, wooden floors, adventures, the smell in churches and picknicks. I don't like driving, early mornings, tv and low-energy lightbulbs. I walk or ride my bike to the office where i work as an engineer.
I love your blog, keep up the good habit :)
I know this post was days ago, but is never to late : ), so I'm Mariela from Puerto Rico, 32 years old, I have a husband, a 6 year old son and a dog name Rocco. I love my family, interior design photos, soccer, sunny days, breakfast ( that's why and for the great images I love your blog ) read interior design magazines and blog. Well that's somethings about me, love your blog!!. Have a great day.
hey! i found your blog yesterday via a finnish friend who has shared your blog on facebook. and i may be the reason of the sudden increase of visitors from turkey cuz i posted it on twitter, shared it with friends, send the link etc because i loved it! it is so original and interesting.
you do have a very different breakfast choice than the way we do breakfast in turkey. and we wondered with my friends: how can u get up in the morning and prepare these wonderful breakfasts and take photos? and also: how can u drink smoothies almost like every day? :D
loved the blog, hey from istanbul - turkey
